Madera Co. woman held in stabbing of boyfriend

A 44-year-old woman was booked on suspicion of attempted murder Friday morning in connection with the stabbing of her boyfriend, the Madera County Sheriff's Department reported.

The victim said he was injured in a home at D Street and East Cleveland Avenue.

When officers went to the home, the suspect was not there, sheriff's spokeswoman Erica Stuart said.

Deputies returned Friday and arrested her.
